Beschreibung
The Porsche 911T was introduced as an affordable six-cilinder Porsche with an introduction price of just under 20.000 DEM. By using a 4-speed gearbox and solid disc brakes, and deleting anti-roll bars and some luxury interior trim, Porsche could keep the price down but also the weight of the car. This resulted in a kerbweight which was 35 kg lighter then the base 911, and offering almost similar performance figures with the 110 bhp 2,0 litre flat six.
This example is finished in the desirable colour combination of Bahama Yellow with black vinyl seats. The interior retains most of its original vinyl, slightly patinated but still in very good condition. All brightwork is still original, as well as the front headlights and all windows. This is a very clean short wheelbase 911, which is quite rare as only 928 examples were produced in 1968, and this is one of the very last SWB cars ever produced by Porsche. The car is of course full matching nrs and comes with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.
Originally supplied in America, the car came to Europe in 2014 and then had a full engine rebuilt and a professional repaint in the original colour Bahama Yellow. It has been with the same owner since , and comes with a Belgian registration. The car is kept in fantastic condition with many service invoices, and the perfect car for classic rallies as it is a real pleasure to drive.
