Beschreibung

Representing the last model year of the “impact bumper” generation 911, this 1989 example features the 911’s classic silhouette and interior design along with the desirable G50 five-speed manual gearbox. In their time, these 911s were among the swiftest cars on the road, with 0-60 mph capability in sub-six seconds. But as many 911 enthusiasts will tell you, the car’s impressive sporting abilities are just as notable as effortless high- speed touring.

Finished in black with a black interior, this 911 Carrera has had just two owners and has covered less than 20,000 miles. The first owner, a university professor, purchased the car new in August 1989 after a lengthy search for a perfectly specified 911. Extremely well-maintained for 18 years in her ownership and since then by the consignor, this Porsche remains exceptionally original, with only maintenance and wear items replaced. Accompanying the car at sale are service records, window sticker, a battery tender, tool kit, air pump, owner’s manuals, sales brochures, enthusiasts’ books, and the original bill of sale. As a bonus, mementos celebrating Ferdinand Anton Ernst Porsche’s 80th birthday in 1989 come with this 911, including a bottle of champagne with two glasses, an umbrella, and a tote bag.

This 911 offers the savvy enthusiast a wonderful event car that also would do itself proud as a concours preservation class entrant.
