Hexagon Classics are delighted to offer this quite unique low mileage 997 Turbo S Cabriolet, which is presented in the fantastic colour combination of GT Silver with Cocoa full leather interior. It comes fitted with an extensive list of highly desirable optional extras and may be the lowest mileage Turbo S available for sale today.

The 997 Turbo S added 30bhp and £20,000 to the standard 997 Turbo’s already eye-wateringly extreme figures. Those figures, 560 BHP, 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds, and 0-100 mph in 7.1 seconds speak for themselves. An increased top speed of 196 miles per hour is possible where conditions allow. The torque peak is the same as a regular Turbo equipped with the optional Sport Chrono overboost function, but the S has the full 516lb ft whenever you like it, rather than needing a Sport button to be pressed to access the extra oomph.

For the top-of-the-range Turbo S the engine received a nominal 1.2 bar of boost, along with lightly modified turbocharger vanes and a carbon fibre air manifold to endow the S with a continuous (not over-boosted) 516 lb/ft of torque. That’s 37 lb/ft more than the Turbo. The S also gained Porsche’s excellent seven-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox, with paddle shift behind the steering wheel, and Sport Chrono Plus package for more spirited throttle, damper and stability control settings at the press of a button. Other developments included the latest 911 Turbo’s four-wheel drive hardware and PTV, or Porsche Torque Vectoring, which varied the drive to each individual rear wheel for more neutral cornering and spectacular traction.

The Turbo S’s agility has been described as almost GT3 like albeit without any of the road-going cup car’s intensity or demanding nature.  997 Turbo S Cabriolets were only built in small numbers and left the factory with a very high standard specification. Huge extra power combined with PDK gearboxes make them ideal daily drivers or special cars for the weekend.

Our one owner car was supplied by Porsche Centre Reading in June 2010 and has benefitted from a full service and belt change. It is presented in perfect condition and represents a fantastic opportunity for Porsche drivers or collectors own the best and is available for immediate viewing at our London showrooms.
