Beschreibung

The Porsche 993 was the last of the air-cooled 911s, replacing the 964 in late 1993 and continuing until 1998, when it was succeeded by the first water-cooled 911, the 996. The 993 borrowed suspension development from the Porsche 959 supercar, including a multi-link rear suspension that was attached to an alloy subframe. It was also the first production 911 to employ a six-speed manual transaxle.

The Carrera 4S is a truly special 911. Beginning with the Turbo’s captivating wide-body shell, it features an all-wheel-drive layout inspired by the 959; the Turbo’s superb four-piston brakes, complete with characteristic red calipers; a lowered ride height; and the Turbo’s 18" wheels. It is powered by the ultimate evolution of Porsche’s naturally aspirated 3.6-liter air-cooled flat six, producing 282 hp and 250 lbs./ft. of torque. Brilliantly finished in factory Speed Yellow over an elegant black leather interior, this Porsche 993 Carrera 4S is lavishly appointed with desirable factory options, including power heated seats, digital sound package, Litronic headlights, carbon fiber accents, and motor sound package. It has traveled less than 8,000 miles from new and is offered with its original window sticker, owner’s manual, tool kit, and service records.

Coveted by collectors and casual enthusiasts alike, the last and most highly developed air-cooled 911s are remarkable road cars, perfectly positioning this spectacular C4S for concours competition and spirited driving.
