History
In order to extend the 993 family, Porsche proposed in 1995 a strongly competition-oriented version.
This variant of production took, as per the tradition of the Brand, the prestigious initials RS (RennSport), to enhance the feeling of driving and most important the strong racing vocation for the use on track.
The engine was equipped with Porsche's innovative Varioram intake system and Bosch Motronic engine management system which developed a whopping 300 hp at 6,500 rpm.
The RS had already been subjected to a severe weight loss diet, with the adoption of a front hood and doors in aluminum alloy, with lighter interior panels, thinner glass, Recaro sports seats and six-point racing belts: the Stuttgart manufacturer concentrated all its efforts in order to make the RS as light as possible.
The "ClubSport" was presented in a limited edition and its production stopped at only 221 cars. It had a racing DNA and its natural habitat was the track.
The roof lining was therefore eliminated as well as the electric seats, the windows, the mirrors, the central locking, the intermittent wipers, the radio, the speakers, the rear defroster and the airbags. Later, a roll cage was installed in the interior of the car in order to improve safety and rigidity.
Externally, the Club Sport shows a striking rear wing, aimed at further improving the car's aerodynamics, but which also made it easily distinguishable from all other “normals” 993.

Our Porsche 993 RS Club Sport
The car was delivered new in Germany in 1995, and had a second German owner before being bought in 1999 by an important Wilford contractor in Surrey (UK).
In the first months of 2000 this RS ClubSport arrived in Italy, bought by a well-known local driver to be used exclusively on the track, proof of this is the fact that the car was registered with Italian plates and documents only in February 2009. From then the car was serviced with regularly.
The engine was replaced with another original RS Porsche engine of the same type and prepared with the same specifications as the one for track use 993 RSR.
An important added value of this Porsche 993 RS Club Sport, concerns the homologation for road use, very rare for this type of car, considering that almost all the Club Sport were used exclusively on the track.
This very rare 993 RS Club Sport, today represents one of the most desired Porsche by collectors of the Stuttgart brand, for its rarity and for some technical specifications that make it unique, such as the iconic Guards Red color.
The car comes with the Porsche Certificate of Origin and is in excellent overall condition,a classic/modern, at ease on the race track but also on the street roads.
We remind you that it is also possible to view the car online, by booking a call with our commercial operator, via Skype, Zoom, Whatsapp and Google Meet platforms.
