Discription:
The Porsche 964 replaced the Porsche 911 (G-model). It was introduced in 1989 and was not a further development of the 911 but an almost completely new construction. In order to meet the increasing demands of customers in terms of comfort, safety and performance, an almost completely new vehicle was developed that had innovations such as ABS, all-wheel drive, power steering, coil spring suspension, double ignition, knock control, regulated catalytic converter and much more on board , It was well received by the customers. Many variants of the model were built, including a legendary Turbo with a wide body.
In order to boost sales in its last years of construction, Porsche decided to launch a limited special model for the 30th anniversary of the 911. Porsche had a difficult time during this time and had to fight economically for survival.
This special model, which stands out from the production models due to its particularly rich and sometimes unique equipment, was limited to 911 units. From 1993, a limited number of the series of the 964 was launched for the 30th anniversary of the Porsche 911 at a price of DM 145,900. These vehicles were built in model year 1993 "P-program" and 1994 "R-program". The special model "30 Years 911" was the all-wheel drive "Carrera 4" variant of the 964 with the wide coupé body of the turbo model. However, the voluminous rear spoiler was omitted in favor of a more harmonious and elegant shape. The automatically extendable rear spoiler remained analogous to the standard models. Basically, the model was only available in three colors. Viola-Metallic was the exclusive color for the German market.
However, customers who absolutely wanted a different color than the very special viola metallic were also given in at the urging of sales and orders were taken. However, these vehicles did not have the limited badges. Only 188 of this special order vehicles were built, of which only 28 vehicles were painted in Indian red. Such a vehicle first delivered in Germany we have on offer.
Accident-free, original paint without repainting, maintenance with the checkbook, German vehicle with all books, tools, spare wheel and cover.
