A unique Porsche 964 3.6 RS Cup auto. This is an original 1992 3.6 RS M001 Cup car. And if that was not enough, it was the Porsche 964 Cup of Patrick Huisman, the 1992 car he drove when he was named ‘Rookie of The Year’. It was also the start of his successful career that culminated in Patrick, with 4 championships to his name, being the most successful supercar driver ever. The Porsche Supercup often featured in the European F1 warm-up races. In 1992 Patrick Huisman was given his own Cup car, which he used during the whole of that season. MR W Holzental, who bought four Cup cars from the Porsche Werksabholung Rennsport-Abteilung in Weissbach, owned the car. The car is exceptionally well documented with the purchase order, the 1992 regulations, and the official 1992 entry certificate, the factory ‘birth certificate’, various entry certificates, press photo’s, articles, tuning details, sponsorship contracts as well as the original helmet. Remarkable! Recently various specialists have had a hand in fully restoring and rebuilding this Porsche. The extensively documented process has also been mentioned in various magazines. The original racing livery was Marlboro red/white. Presently the car is without stickers. It has a very powerful M64/03 engine, official producing 260 Hp. Actually in practice the power tended to be closer to 300 Hp. This car has all the 1993 Cup specifications and has been totally built to factory specifics in having airjacks, 1 seat and BBS rims with central wheel bolts amongst other items. The car is Dutch registered with Dutch plates. Next to track ready it is also completely street- legal! This is a one-off car from an exceptional owner and with a similarly exceptional provenance!
