The Porsche 356. The car with which it all started for Porsche. Ferdinand Porsche Senior, had already designed the car in 1931 that would later serve as the Volkswagen Beetle. His son, Ferry Porsche, laid the foundation for the Porsche 356 in 1939. All technology initially came from Volkswagen, but this soon became very different. Porsche made adjustments to the engine, gearbox, interior and steering. Later, almost everything was modified and custom-made by Porsche.

Thanks to the Second World War, the entire concept was put on a hold until 1948. It was in that year that the first prototypes were born. The new Porsches were sold very well; the new owners were enormously impressed by their aerodynamics, handling and build quality. Nevertheless, the 356's are good to use in everyday traffic. Basic principles that Porsche continues to pursue to this day.

Our model, the 356B (T6) was born in Stuttgart in 1961. It was delivered in sunny California. This generation was fitted with a tank cap in the right front wing and two cooling grilles in the nose. In addition, the interior was given a facelift and a rear seat. Ours is in very good condition and has a lot of maintenance history. In 2004 the German cruiser made the crossing to our country. The beautiful roaring boxer engine was now allowed to make the country's roads unsafe.

You spontaneously get a smile from mirror to mirror when you drive this German-Californic classic. Just a bit sporty because it is a 1600 super, iconic as always. Many people see this as the ultimate classic. Therefore both rationally and emotionally a perfect candidate for the enthusiast!

Der Porsche 356. Das Auto, mit dem für Porsche alles begann. Ferdinand Porsche Senior hatte bereits 1931 das Auto entworfen, das später als Volkswagen Käfer dienen sollte. Sein Sohn, Ferry Porsche, legte 1939 den Grundstein für den Porsche 356. Die gesamte Technik stammte zunächst von Volkswagen, was sich aber bald änderte. Porsche nahm Anpassungen an Motor, Getriebe, Innenraum und Lenkung vor. Später wurde fast alles modifiziert und von Porsche selbst angefertigt.

Aufgrund des Zweiten Weltkriegs wurde das gesamte Konzept bis 1948 auf Eis gelegt. In diesem Jahr entstanden dann die ersten Prototypen. Die neuen Porsches verkauften sich sehr gut, die neuen Besitzer waren von der Aerodynamik, dem Handling und der Bauqualität enorm beeindruckt. Trotzdem sind die 356er im Alltagsverkehr gut zu gebrauchen. Grundprinzipien, die Porsche bis heute weiterverfolgt.

Unser Modell, der 356B (T6), wurde 1961 in Stuttgart geboren. Ausgeliefert wurde er im sonnigen Kalifornien. Diese Generation wurde mit einem Tankdeckel im rechten vorderen Kotflügel und zwei Kühlgittern in der Nase ausgestattet. Außerdem erhielt der Innenraum ein Facelift und eine Rückbank. Unserer ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und hat eine Menge Wartungshistorie. Im Jahr 2004 kam der deutsche Kreuzer in unser Land. Der schöne röhrende Boxermotor durfte nun die Straßen des Landes unsicher machen.

Man bekommt spontan ein Lächeln von Spiegel zu Spiegel, wenn man diesen deutsch-kalifornischen Klassiker fährt. Nur ein bisschen sportlich, weil es ein 1600er Super ist, ikonisch wie immer. Für viele ist er der ultimative Klassiker. Also sowohl rational als auch emotional ein perfekter Kandidat für den Enthusiasten!
