Beschreibung

Boutsen Classic Cars is delighted to offer this elegant and classic 1953 Porsche 356 "Bent Window" pre-A Coupe by Reutter.

Presented in beautiful burgundy paint with an elegant cream interior this is the quintessential classic 356 - a Porsche in its purest form! Early 356's are coveted by enthusiasts for their pure lines and clean detailing. This example is among the most desirable of the early 356 Coupes, with its distinct V-shaped roof and windscreen as well as the highly desirable and rare sunroof; a very unusual feature on the bent roof cars.

This 356 looks outstanding in gleaming burgundy paint which has a deep, rich gloss. The light cream interior is airy and bright and in excellent, nearly flawless condition. The optional original Telefunken radio plays a prominent role on the dash. All bright work is clean and free of rust or pitting and the chassis is solid and rust free. It has been extremely well maintained and would make an excellent candidate for touring - providing all-weather comfort with the open air feel when you slide open that sunroof. A major part of that usability is thanks to an uprated 912 engine. The larger 912 engine has nearly twice the power of the original and allows outstanding performance in this early 356. We believe this car would be the perfect choice for rallies and club drives. Performance is strong enough to surprise a few people along the way, too!
This is the ideal example for the Porsche enthusiast who truly loves to get out and drive.
You get the charm and character of a proper bent-roof car combined with more usable and modern performance capabilities of the torquey 912 engine.
