1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am in the really rare convertible version made by the coachbuilder NCE (National Coach Engineering of Michigan). It is number *145 of only 250 cars produced.

General Motors delegated the production of the convertible model to the company NCE. NCE is therefore the only official company that has worked with GM for the production of the convertible version of their Trans Am. The production cost was so exorbitant that only 250 units were produced, making this car up for auction a very rare to find vehicle.

This car has been registered in Spain as a Historic Vehicle. According to its owner, he is the third owner since the car was new. It has a valid ITV (Spanish vehicle inspection) until 2023.

It is equipped a powerful 6.6-litre V8 engine. Recently, a service has been carried out including: oils and filters replaced, new spark plugs, wires and distributor cap, new engine gaskets, new brakes, new exhaust manifolds and new stainless steel exhaust pipes.

The soft top has been redone, but it still has to be adjusted in order to close properly, as you can see in the photographs.
