Like many 404s, this one spent a long time on the roads of France, before being retired in 1995 after 30 years of loyal service. Thanks to the history of technical inspections, we know that this 404 had only 95,000 km when it was stopped. It was only in 2016 that the car was rediscovered in a sound condition and restored. All the mechanics were rebuilt, as was the upholstery, the chrome was changed or renewed, and the bodywork was revised before being repainted. The current owner acquired it in 2021 and has since redone the rear deck and Hydrovac.
