This strange and unusual vehicle is a lovingly built, detailed replica of the Bugatti Type 17, of which only one example exists today and which can be seen in the world famous Schlumpf collection in Molsheim, France. A passionate collector of French pre-war motor cars and motor cycles, the vendor obviously acknowledged that he would never be able to buy the original, so instead he endeavoured to build his own using the chassis and mechanical components of a 1921 Peugeot. He personally made several trips to France to see the original and acquired, after months of research and help from the Bugatti Trust in Great Britain, enough confidence and expertise to embark on the realisation of a dream.

The result can only be described as stunning, and this charming little car is a true testament
