Beschreibung

The Motor magazine tested a four-door Moggie Saloon in 1952. It reported a top speed of 62mph and acceleration from 0-50mph in a blistering in 28.6 seconds (!). The test car cost an-equally staggering £631 including taxes which tempted almost 500,000 new owners to the fore by the time production ended in 1956.

Offered here is a late car with desirable split-screen front window from 1956. A charming example, it has been owned by just one family for most of its life being sympathetically restored and regularly maintained throughout resulting in a car in all-round lovely condition, including interior. Boasting a fantastic and detailed history file from day one to present this handsome Moggie is reported to drive wonderfully, stop sharply (reasonably) and even claims working semaphores - though indicators have also been fitted.  This Moggie was fitted with a factory reconditioned 948cc engine upgrade in 1974.

As if this wasn't enough, ‘OHR 860' even comes with the essential motoring requirement for any well prepared 1950's family man of an... Emergency Windscreen, we jest not!
