History of the model

The 1965 Morris Mini Cooper S Mk1 is a British motoring icon. Originally launched in 1963, the ‘S’ version was distinguished by its more powerful engine (often the 1071cc or later 1275cc), disc brakes and improved suspension, making it formidable in competition, particularly rallying. The Mk1, with its sliding windows and external door hinges, embodied the original spirit of the sporty Mini designed by John Cooper, combining agility and performance in a compact and revolutionary format. The 1965 model is at the height of the golden age of this version, highly prized by collectors today for its authenticity and timeless charm.

Sold new in France by RICHARD in Paris 16ème, this Mini has only had 2 owners and has remained with its first owner from 1965 to 2018 (we still have the original registration document).

The originality of this car is just incredible, it actually has 36,000 original km and above all it has never been repainted!

Of course, you'll find all its matching numbers (we have its Heritage certificate) and absolutely all its mechanical parts are original (AEG312 block, 22G333 gearbox, etc).

Importantly, the mechanics were completely rebuilt in 2018, as were the running gear, so that it can cover any distance with complete peace of mind.

Vendue neuve en France par les établissements RICHARD à Paris 16ème, cette Mini a connu seulement 2 propriétaires et est restée avec son premier propriétaire de 1965 à 2018 (nous avons encore la carte grise d’origine).

L’originalité de cette auto est juste incroyable, elle a réellement 36 000 km d’origine et par dessus tout elle n’a jamais été repeinte !
