In the late 1960s, the Morgan Motor Company introduced the Morgan Plus 8. It became one of Morgan's most succesful models thanks to the large V8 engine. The last 'copies' of the Classic Plus 8 were put into use in 2004. In 2003 Morgan celebrated the 35th anniversary of the iconic Plus 8 with the 35th Anniversary models that were equipped with the new Easy-Up roof in mohair, wide 16" spoke rims and often with the overrider bumpers.

The Morgan that we now have in our showroom is such a 35th Anniversary model that was registered for the first time in March 2004. In addition to the exquisite composition from the factory, this car is equipped with a custom-made wooden dashboard with beautiful rocker switches and classic indicator lights. The steering column has been changed to a stainless steel version as well as the lights and the windscreen wipers. The beautiful MotoLita steering wheel is removable. We see little of this, but it makes getting and out of the car considerable easier.

The body colour has been inspired by the Shelby Cobra and classic Ford Mustangs that are regularly supplied in such a fresh blue colour. The combination of the ivory-coloured leather and the dark blue fabric cover makes it a beautiful unity. All in all a beautiful Morgan and one of the last produced Morgans with the Landrover V8 engine.
