LOUWMAN CELEBRATES 100 YEARS WITH FOUR UNIQUE MORGANS
Louwman Group and Morgan Motor Company are jointly celebrating a special moment: 100 years of Louwman Group. To celebrate this anniversary, Morgan has built four unique Morgans as a tribute to the long-standing relationship with Louwman. The special initiative has led to four special versions of the Morgan Plus series. Each variant embodies a quarter of a century in Louwman's 100th anniversary.

The special 'Tribute' versions are equipped with almost all options and have a unique logo, designed by Morgan, that combines parts of the British and Dutch flag. The logo is not only applied to the hood and dashboard, but also stitched into the headrests. Each Morgan will emphasize the atmosphere of a specific period, expressed in a special color combination, inside and outside. Jon Wells, Morgan's Chief Design Officer, put together the cars.

This is Tribute #1, which refers to the first quarter century of the Louwman Group. This largely means the pre-war era, when matte colors and black leather were common. That is why this Morgan has a two-tone bodywork whereby two separate colors were not chosen, but metallic green was used in gloss and matt finish. Large spotlights adorn the front where a black bonnet strap is also mounted. The black wire wheels with brass wheel nuts and the black luggage rack emphasize the pre-war character of this manual Plus Four. The 1 placed in the mesh grille and on the doors shows that this is the first car from the Tribute Morgan series.

In the interior, the dashboard painted in matte body color stands out and we see a lot of black leather. Not only are the seats completely made of leather, with square stitching, but the center tunnel is also covered with leather on both the sides and the top. The center of the steering wheel is painted in black and the wooden beam under the dashboard in so-called Raven black wood.

What does not match the period are the comfortable extras that this Morgan has. But that is only an advantage of course. For example, the optional Comfort Plus seats are equipped with heating and music can be listened to via Bluetooth. Air conditioning is also available. In addition to these options, items such as power steering, ABS, two airbags and ESP (traction control) are now standard equipment. In short, the appearance of a pre-war car with the convenience of a new one.

The unique series of Morgans not only offers a distinctive appearance, but also a substantial financial advantage, given the extensive equipment and unique design. In this case the price advantage is €5,509.
