We have a very appealing 1998 Mini Cooper. The Mini came in numerous guises, as demonstrated by our one. The Monza is recognisable by its larger wheels, black leather trim and lovely burr walnut dashboard. It has a 1275cc four cylinder engine developing 46 Ps.

The bodywork is in great shape as is the rest of this Mini. The fine bodywork has no corrosion. The nice and thin panelwork is correctly aligned. The blue paintwork is emblematic for the Monza adding to it stylish appearance. The wonderful sports rims are shod in good quality and correctly sized tyres. The Union Jack emblem on the roof and the battery of lights attached to the front are other traditional Mini features.

The beautifully cared for interior reflects the car’s low mileage. The fine looking leather trim is delightfully supple. The walnut burr finish is also in great shape, adding a touch of pure British class to Sir Alex Issigonis’ masterpiece. The instrument cluster and controls look fine and are all in correct working order.

The car has benefitted from good maintenance. Driving a Mini is made fun courtesy of the 1.3 litre engine. There is fuel-injection keeping the car in good running order. The Mini is the example of the small car giving great pleasure driving. The car stood its place and it is no surprise it won so many rallies and races. With the wheels placed at each corner and gas-filled balls for suspension it was possible to corner a Mini at almost 90 degrees. Its good suspension and brakes only add to all this enjoyment.

The car comes with its service book, mileage rapport and original owner’s manual. The service book and mileage rapport support the car’s lovely low mileage. This is a very well presented 1998 Mini Coper Monza with the popular 1.3 engine beautifully appointed and in good condition.
