Produced between September 1967 and January 1970, the Mini Mk2 Cooper S is arguably the best mix of Mk1 quirkiness and Mk3 practicality. During this two and a half year period, BMC manufactured a total of 6.329 of these fabulous cars - split as 2.687 units of the Austin variant and 3.642 as the Morris equivalent.
It's with great pleasure that we offer this unique example, which is as rare as hen's teeth : 1968 Morris Mini Mk2 Cooper S
The car was newly delivered in 1968 in France, the previous owner used the car sparingly for VHRS events, its last big event was the 2005 Monte Carlo Historique which it successfully completed.
It is currently been fitted with a Roll cage, a working Halda trip meter, 4 point harness seatbelts, Hella Rally lights ( original casing with leds for better visibility) A BMC roof rack, Monte Carlo rally style, also a Carter protection plate was fitted and many other upgrades…
The car has currently been trough a major service, distribution, differential, new brakes, new clutch, new tires, waterpump, all fluids has been replaced, cardans replaced, new wheel bearings, carbonation system renewed, brake cilinders, all electrics have been checked and repaired where needed.
It has a Heritage certificate proving the authenticity of the car, the car also comes with current FIVA papers which are needed for international VHRS events.
The car is in Rally ready condition or suitable for daily use, ideal to win the 2026 Monte Carlo Historique or any other events.
