It has been completely restored from the bare shell. It has been through a rotisserie, the sills have been repaired, the corrosion on the trunk and doors has been treated at the source, and the underbody has undergone a complete overhaul including sealing and rustproofing. The interior, engine compartment, and moving parts were repainted separately before reassembly. Approximately six months of work were required for this complete restoration.

The 998cc engine was removed, inspected, and overhauled. The running gear was also checked. Everything that could be inspected was.

On the outside, the factory Red Hot paint has regained a depth and brilliance that was no longer expected on a car of this age. The Red Hot signature in black lettering on the sides is present.

Voici une très belle Red Hot, française d’origine, restaurée dans les règles de l’art !

Celle-ci est française d’origine. La carte grise le confirme, le kilométrage aussi : 75 000 km certifiés et sans zone d’ombre.

Elle a été entièrement restaurée depuis la caisse nue. Elle est passée sur le tourne-broche, les bas de caisse refaits, la corrosion du coffre et des portières traitée à la source, intervention complète sous la coque avec étanchéité et traitement antirouille. Peinture intérieure, compartiment moteur, éléments mobiles repeints séparément avant remontage. Environ 6 mois de travail pour une remise à neuf totale.

Le moteur 998 cm³ a été sorti, inspecté, révisé. Les trains roulants aussi. Tout ce qui pouvait être contrôlé l’a été.

À l’extérieur, ce rouge Red Hot d’usine a retrouvé une profondeur et une brillance qu’on n’attendait plus sur une auto de cet âge. La signature Red Hot en lettrage noir sur les flancs est présent.
Les jantes Minilite polies chaussées en Yokohama A539 finissent le tableau parfaitement.

À l’intérieur, il s’agit de la sellerie d’origine en alcantara anthracite avec passepoil rouge, broderie Red Hot sur les appuie-têtes, ceintures rouges à l’arrière, moquette noire avec liséret rouge. Avec un beau volant trois branches, un levier court et un pédalier aluminium.

Une Red Hot 1988, française d’origine, 75 000 km certifiés, entièrement restaurée avec le soin qu’elle méritait. Ce type d’auto dans cet état avec ce dossier, ça ne court pas les rues.
