Beschreibung

MG TD to drive on the right, registered for the first time in 1951 in Switzerland, Canton Ticino.

The car has been completely restored: new ash wood bottom, the interior wood of the doors remade with its design, new internal upholstery, new cover and redone side windows.

Engine serviced in all of its parts with cylinder bore because it run regularity rallies in Switzerland; the original carburettors are present as at the time of purchase it was equipped with a double-barrel Alfa Romeo carburettor.

For circulation in Italy side back and front turn signals were added with light bulbs and lamp holders for position lights.

A non-original modification is the replacement of the English (US) gasoline pump because it was not working well at all.

The engine has only run a few hundred miles ever since it was overhauled.

During the restoration phase the car was fully disassembled, carried with sheet metal including chassis with replacement of shock absorbers, brakes and renovation of all mechanisms. Restoration with ample documentation in photos.

The restoration took around three years and was completed in 2020.

The current owner who carried out the restoration has kept the engine and colours (bicolour) that they found. Not in possession of a certificate of origin and thus it's not noted if there are matching numbers and colours.

The chassis is splendid, the interiors and the hood are excellent and like new.
The mechanism doesn't need any work and functions perfectly.
