In 1936 the MG replaced the existing PA/PB series with the TA. It was the first car in the legendary T-Series range of models from MG that ran right through to the MG TFS. The TA utilised a modified OHV four-cylinder engine from the Wolseley 10 (designated the MPJG) with twin SU carburettors, altered camshaft and exhaust manifolds.
