We have a wonderful 1964 MG B Roadster including its hardtop. The car has been here in the Netherlands since 1968 and was fully mechanically overhauled and restored some four years ago. The work was carried out to a very high standard, leaving the car in fine fettle. The restoration works meant the car was completely rebuilt. After taken the bodywork back to bare metal it was anti-corrosion proved before being reassembled. This is characteristic for precision with which the work was tackled. The car then received a two-component paint leaving it with a lovely lustre. It will come as no surprise the bodywork, chassis and hardtop are in excellent condition. The paintwork is unblemished and the alignment of the bodywork is wonderful. The completely renewed brightwork also stands out. The interior trim has also been completely refurbished with lovely black carpets and supple black leather with white piping to the seats. There is also a totally new dashboard with lovely Smith’s counters and controls all in great working oder. The MG’s engine bay looks as if it directly comes out of the brochure! The red valve cover is lovely and the SU carburettors have open chrome air-filters. They are the first things that jump into view and are a herald of the exacting nature of the works carried out. Both and engine and diff have been fully overhauled. All of the mounting kit as well as the brakes have been replaced. The 1.8 litre engine delivers 95 PS attached to a manual 4-speed with overdrive. The car comes with its British Heritage Trust certificate. This is not just any old 1964 MG B Roadster, this is a top-quality example.
