One of the very few to have been sold new in Italy.
Bodywork and interiors completely restored by professionals around 20 years ago. Since then, the car has been well looked after and used sparingly. 
Interiors restored some time ago, with utmost respect for the original specifications, and well preserved ever since. 
A complete mechanical restoration was performed in 2016; the work was commissioned by the present owner and cost over 7,000 euros (invoice and photos documenting the work done are available). In addition to the engine, the gearbox, clutch, braking system, suspensions and electrical system were all overhauled.
With an heritage Certificate issued by the British Motor Museum.
It is still equipped with all the accessories originally fitted. It wears the classic color scheme of black over red leather interiors, which is among the most sought after on this model. 
It was originally purchased by engineer Giacomo Parodi of Genoa, an important businessman. It was then passed on to his brother Giovanni Battista, before being registered to the company Dufour S.p.A. and subsequently to the Consulate General of Finland.
From the 1970s to 2016 it had just one owner.                          
Boasting classic lines, among the most archetypal of the entire classic car world, the MGA in this rare DOHC version is certainly a great collector’s item as well as a wonderful classic car to drive. Indeed, its 1.5-liter, four-cylinder 110 HP engine means that an intensely pleasurable driving experience is guaranteed. The all-round Dunlop disc brakes and the steel rims with central  wheel nut are similar to those of the Jaguar D-Type.
