The quality is simply astounding! Just take closing the door for instance; it really feels as if it will still function with the same precision in 50 years time as it does now. This car has a stylish “040 Schwartz” uni lacquer finish, red burgundy leather interior trim and black hood. This stately convertible is in good shape. The paintwork is nice with minimal signs of use. The extensive brightwork looks great. The black hood’s condition is in good and closes neatly. For those sunny days when the hood is down, there is a burgundy coloured tonneau cover available. This cover is also in a very neat, used condition. The condition of the burgundy red leather interior trim is very good. Not only is the leather in great shape, so are the mats and carpets. The woodwork is second to none. Underneath this 280SE good care have been taken; it is rock solid, undamaged and naturally totally rust-free. Not only does this 280SE look good, it drives a treat as well. Mechanically it is in very good order. The car is matching numbers and the engine runs beautifully and the automatic works perfectly supple.
