This USA delivered 280 SE Cabriolet is 1 of only approximately 200 6-cylinder low-grille Cabriolets manufactured. It has had just four owners from new and has been collector owned and cared for over the years.

This 280 SE was ordered with the following factory options: 236: Special light wiring daylight; 306: Activated charcoal odor filter; 491: U.S. version; 503: Left outside mirror; 515: Becker radio AM/FM USA; 268: Parking Brake Warning Buzzer.

Previously owned by a friend and long-time client of Autosport Designs, Inc., this 280 SE Cabriolet is excellent in every area. It has received one repaint and has been properly maintained to date including a recent service. It has only been used for seasonal touring and never in inclement weather. When not in use, it has been stored in a climate-controlled collector environment.

On a recent road test, this 280 SE performed perfectly. It has excellent power, the automatic transmission shifts properly and smoothly, the suspension and braking systems are excellent and all the while, the road test was conducted in the comfort of factory air conditioning that is blowing properly and cold.

This 280 is complete with original books, records and ownership history. It is in exceptional condition throughout and ready for immediate use and enjoyment.
