Im Rahmen der Eröffnung des Daimler-Benz-Museums in Untertürkheim am 24. Februar 1961 wurde das "Ur-Modell" der Modellreihe W 111 mit dem 2,2 Liter Motor vorgestellt. Vom 280 SE Cabriolet wurden lediglich 1.390 Exemplare gefertigt!

Dieses außergewöhnlich schöne Mercedes-Benz 280 SE Cabriolet hatte lediglich 2 Vorbesitzer und befindet sich in einem sehr guten, nahezu unberührten Zustand.

Nach vorliegenden Informationen wurde der Wagen 1968 an einen Edward Cowan nach Gibraltar erstausgeliefert. 1995 ging er mit einer Laufleistung von 56.115 km in den Besitz eines Dr. Alfons Buster in Belgien über.

Die Gesamtlaufleistung beträgt heute ca. 71.000 km. Der Wagen verfügt über seinen originalen Motor und befindet sich in der gleichen Farbkombination wie bei Auslieferung. Das originale schwarze Lederinterieur weist eine angenehme Patina auf. Eine Datenkarte, die originale Bedienungsanleitung etc. sind vorhanden.

As part of the opening of the Daimler-Benz Museum in Untertürkheim in February 24th 1961, the "original model" of the model series W 111 was introduced with the 2.2-liter engine. Of the 280 SE Cabriolet only 1.390 exemplars were produced!

This outstanding beautiful Mercedes-Benz 280 SE Cabriolet only had 2 previous owners and is in a very nice, almost untouched condition.

According to available information, the car was first delivered in 1968 to an Edward Cowan in Gibraltar. In 1995 he was acquired by a Dr. Ing. Alfons Buster in Belgium with a mileage of 56.115 km.

The total mileage today is about 71.000 km. The car has its original engine and the colour combination is according to the delivery specifications. The original black leather interior has a pleasant patina. A data card, the original instructions manual, etc. are available.
