EXTERIOR
This SL55 AMG is a real feast for the eyes, a significant GT with stunning styling and unique presence at the curb and on the move. To the SL’s already slick long-nose exterior AMG adds subtle enhancements including timeless headlights, grated fog lamps, sculpted side-skirts, bright “V8” badging and a pair of twin pipe chrome exhausts. It certainly looks the part, and so it should in an era when 500hp was the reserve of the supercar!

The Brilliant Silver paint presents very well with a deep lustful shine. There are no signs of corrosion and all of the chrome and plastic trims are in excellent condition with lights and glass free from chips or cracks.

INTERIOR
Opulence is an understatement when it comes to describing the interior of this SL. The cabin is a professional affair; a typical combination of Mercedes luxury and efficiency with the latest in technology and AMG performance upgrades. The leather AMG comfort seats feature power adjustments, heat, ventilation, and an active lumbar massage system, the seats exhibit a matte appearance with minimal wear to report.

The SL55 amenities include a high power BOSE surround sound, DVD navigation, dual-zone automatic climate controls, Linguatronic and Bluetooth.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The SL55s supercharged 5.4L power plant fires up with a reverberating V8 rumble after ignition.

The smooth 5 speed automatic gearbox can also be operated using paddle-shift that is located on the steering column for faster gear changes, helping to pull the car up to 60mph in an astonishing 4.7 seconds.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Airmatic suspension is standard on the SL55, the ride height set 10mm lower on 19 inch option wheels that bulge to fill the arches suitably well. These twin five spoke split alloys remain in excellent condition wrapped in Bridgestone rubber.

Huge 360mm discs are gripped by eight-piston calipers, providing incredible stopping power in all conditions.

HISTORY FILE
This superb SL55 was first registered in January 2004 by Mercedes-Benz of Harrogate. The car has had 6 services intervals at; 14,747 miles, 25,252 miles, 33,805 miles, 45,257 miles, 54,259 miles and 57,819 miles.
