"This most iconic of sporting tourers, featured in classic television series such as Dallas and Dynasty, summed up an entire frame of mind, fashion and period of engineering from two decades. Ordered new by the chairman of the London Stock Exchange on 12/11/79, it was collected from the factory by Mr. E. Dunscombe who was on secondment to the Frankfurt Stock exchange for six months. This six-cylinder car has, what is often thought to be, the most desirable of engine sizes, 3.5 litres, the colour scheme is also popular, silver with a blue leather interior, matching blue convertible roof, hard top as well as a manual gearbox, all conspire to produce a motorcar that ticks the boxes.
