The W107 series remains an incredibly popular car amongst Mercedes-Benz disciples. This is not at all surprising once you start driving it. The car was supplied new in Switzerland and has only managed to clock up 142,000 km in all those years. The bodywork is in good condition. The panelwork is nice and thin as well as correctly aligned. The gold coloured finish has been reapplied for cosmetic reasons. The respray has been done well and the paintwork is still in very nice condition. The “Natur Braun” interior trim is totally original and in good shape. The leather upholstery is delightfully supple and the carpets are neat. All controls and instrument are in good working order. This Mercedes-Benz 450SLC also benefits from an electrically operated slide & tilt sunroof. The Mercedes-Benz 450SLC has a 4.5 litre V8 delivering 225 Ps and 377 Nm of torque. The 3-speed automatic works extremely smoothly. Thanks to its large fuel tank of 90 litres, the 450SLC is very well poised as a “Grand Tourer” The car comes well documented.
