We are happy to present this lovely and superbly original Mercedes Benz 450SL W107. When new it was bought from the Atlanta, GA, RBM Motors in 1973 by Mr. Saparow as a present for his wife. This is the popular 450 SL with the powerful VC8 delivering in excess of 217 BHP. It has never been restored and has always been properly maintained and garaged. This superbly authentic has only clocked up 22,256 miles in all and benefits from a full history. The service history, the mileage, the three owners and all the stories that surround this car are well known and recorded. Of course every booklet as well as the seldom present ‘Daten Karte’ have been preserved. It is not often that we encounter such a well-documented vehicle. The lovely bodywork has perfectly aligned body panels and extremely fine paintwork. The original underbody is also perfectly sound and totally rust-free. The engine bay and boot space are also fully original and in fantastic condition. The totally authentic interior trim is as good as new. It has the original ‘Ahorngelb/ Maple Yellow’ finish with black leather trim. It has a number of factory-fitted accessories such as the Behr aircon, the ‘Becker’ Europe 2, surround green tinted, heat reflecting windows, electric aerial and windows. This 450 SL has its original, matching numbers, V8 engine, as verified by the ‘Daten Karte’. In short this is a super authentic and especially well-kept, low-mileage example!
