Beschreibung

"The Mercedes-Benz R107 was produced from 1971 through to 1989, being the second longest single series ever produced by Mercedes-Benz after the G-Class. The SL improved through the years with technical innovation but still managed to keep its fundamental character and identity of an up-market, quality sports car. Volume production of the first SL started in April 1971 alongside the last of the W113 cars. The genius soft top mechanism which folds down out of sight under a panel ahead of the boot lid gave the car a beautifully sleek, uncluttered appearance.
This example offered in Thistle Green over a Butterscotch checkered trim interior and is presented in good order throughout. The paintwork shows little sign of age and the interior is in good order. The hardtop is also presented well and fits the body and front screen as it should. The comprehensive history file that comes with the car includes both the owners and service manual, many old MoT test certificates and sundry invoices, the UK V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until October 2020. If you are seeking a R107 Mercedes-Benz, then look no further. This up-market, quality sports tourer certainly ticks the boxes and with SL prices firming over recent times, we would advise any potential buyers of this model not to wait too long."
