An original 280SL Pagoda, equipped with both hardtop and soft-top. The body still retains all factory spot welds on the fenders and trunk floor and features an unwelded floor pan, preserved in its original factory finish.
A Pagoda with many positive characteristics, though there are some areas that could be improved. Recently, the braking system was renewed, including the four calipers, brake hoses, rear brake pads, fuel hoses, wipers, European headlights, and both front and rear bumpers.
The original interior could benefit from improvement — notably the driver’s seat backrest and the carpet, which has faded somewhat over the years. The chrome work is quite nice overall; perhaps the grille surround could be refreshed.
Factory-delivered in off-white (050 G) with a black hardtop (040 G). The paintwork is overall neat, though minor touch-ups would enhance it further. The engine bay remains in original and good condition.
All numbers are visible and matching, just as when the car left the factory.
