Beschreibung

"The Pagoda series of Mercedes-Benz sports cars managed to combine a sprightly driving experience, reliable Teutonic engineering and the most classic and timeless design to come from the famous Stuttgart designer, Paul Bracq. It is these points that you must take away with you when you approach the car consigned here. The result of a bad debt, it was repossessed by the bank (Santander) and passed on to the vendor. It was to be fully restored and indeed, the process began with the stripping of major elements which are now supplied with the car on pallets. The specification continues to read well, however, it benefits from a four-bearing crankshaft connected to a, known to be very responsive, four-speed automatic transmission. The V5C states four previous owners and importantly, registered in the UK from new thus making this a factory righthand drive example. The original doors come with the car (as well as a new set), the original bootlid plus a spare, the original bonnet plus a spare and the original hardtop and spare. In fact, before events overtook the previous owner, some £10,000 was spent in preparation for the project that lay ahead. Whilst the work ahead maybe considerable, the resultant motorcar will eventually be a lovely example of this sporting legend.
Please note, interested parties need to be aware that additional transport for all associated spare parts will be required although the owner of the white van containing the parts has offered to deliver them by separate negotiation."
