Beschreibung

1968 erfolgt die Fertigstellung und Auslieferung in die USA, bevor der Wagen am 18. Oktober 1968 an Mr. Edmund R. Halsey in Wilson, Connecticut verkauft wird. Der Kaufpreis mit nachgerüstetem Radio und Klimaanlage betrug 8.793 US-Dollar. Der Wagen blieb bis Anfang der 90-er Jahre im Besitz der Familie Halsey, die aber zwischenzeitlich von der Ostküste nach Kalifornien gezogen war. Versicherungsnachweise und diverse Rechnungen aus Kalifornien sind noch vorhanden. Laut amerikanischem Title und diverser Rechnungen läßt sich nachvollziehen, daß der Wagen 1996 seinen ersten Besitzerwechsel hatte. Der neue Besitzer, John Roberts behält den Wagen bis 2013. Im selben Jahr erfolgt der Verkauf nach Holland und der sofortiger Weiterverkauf nach Deutschland. In den folgenden 2 Jahren wird der Wagen inkl. Hardtop auf höchstem Niveau nach Datenkarte vollrestauriert. 2016 wird der nun vollrestaurierte Wagen durch die Daimler AG in München an seinen jetzigen Eigentümer verkauft. Completion and delivery to the United States in 1968 before the car is sold on October 18, 1968 to Mr. Edmund R. Halsey of Wilson, Connecticut. The purchase price with retrofitted radio and air conditioning was $ 8,793. The car remained until the early 90s, owned by the Halsey family, but in the meantime moved from the east coast to California. Insurance certificates and various bills from California are still available. According to American Title and various calculations can be understood that the car had its first owner change in 1996. The new owner, John Roberts keeps the car until 2013. In the same year, the sale to Holland and the immediate resale to Germany. In the following 2 years, the car incl. the hardtop, was fully restored to the highest standard according to the data card.
