This is a very nice 1959 Mercedes-Benz 190SL in a good used condition. The 190SL is the little brother of the 300SL Roadster. This car was first admitted to traffic in 1956 and has been in the Netherlands since 2000. The car has been fully restored once and has been well maintained ever since.

The sheet metal on the body is nice and thin with correct fits. Both the chrome and the hubcaps are still very neatly cared for. The convertible top is in good condition and fits nicely everywhere. When the hood is down, you can neatly cover it with the tonneau cover. The red paint was very well sprayed at the time and is still in neat condition with some signs of wear that match the age and mileage.

The interior is upholstered in black carpets and black leather on the seats. The cockpit is neatly maintained with a beautifully painted dashboard in the colour of the car and well-functioning instruments and controls. The white steering wheel forms a nice contrast against the black leather and the red-painted dashboard.

The Mercedes-Benz 190SL is powered by a 1.9 litre four-cylinder engine. The engine produces 104 horsepower and is mated to a four-speed manual transmission. The engine is equipped with two Solex carburettors and runs well. The transmission can be operated precisely and the brakes and chassis are also in excellent condition. The car has a pleasant driving behaviour and steers and brakes as it should.
