This early 190SL with its bucket seats was completed in 1955 and most probably delivered to Switzerland. First registry has been recorded as the 28th of December 1962. The history of this timeless cabriolet is not known, but the car was obviously repainted from the original black to the current red many years ago. The soft top was replaced at some stage as well and the interior was recovered in light brown leather. Around 10 years ago the Mercedes was taken over by the last owner, parked in his garage and not driven since. Based on this long period of inactivity the technical side certainly needs major attention and a major service will definitely be on order. The engine is running and the 190 can be driven onto a trailer. The coach work and the floor show some areas of corrosion and will require attention. The last Veteran MOT was completed in June 2009.
