The W116 class marked a complete break with the past. The headlamps were now horizontal and were grooved to minimize dust and dirt settling, and the famous central differential for anti-slip system. It was also an extraordinarily luxurious limousine and at the same time the performance of a super sports car with the 6.9 L version, which also offered impressive reserves of power, with outstanding comfort thanks to its hydropneumatic suspension system. This impressive sedan, the 32nd made was delivered new at Hauts de Seine Automobiles in Colombes in September 1975 and sold to a customer from Chesnay, who in turn sold it in 1976 to the second owner, who kept it until 2008 and had the car serviced regularly, as can be seen from the maintenance book. Then the car went to the Limoges region before returning to Paris. There is a total of 160,000km on the clock, which according to the seller would be the real mileage covered. The impermeability of the 3-speed automatic transmission has been done recently. The car is equipped with optional electric Webasto sunroof, working air conditioning, a pair of rear head restraints and electric windows. The body is well aligned and the Pullman beige velvet interior is in good condition. The 6.9 L, with production totaling 7,380 between 1975 and 1980, had the largest automobile engine ever produced in Europe and offers exceptional performance.
