Beschreibung

What an unusual car, this Mercedes 300 SEL 6.3, the top model from the W109 S class.

Gorgeous in red metallic with beige leather and nearly all available options.
This was a masterpiece with regards to design but especially with regards to technology: the large V8 engine from the 600 series in the nose of an S class, with 250 hp on board, plus pneumatic suspension and disc brakes all around on top of that, with a performance that a full-blood sports car could not match.

This car was maintained neatly, it drives sublimely. It has the optional TRX tyres (which are actually a bit too wide and definitely too old) and a wonderful leather interior.

The bottom is very neat and pristine, a lot of maintenance was carried out over the past years.

The engine is fitted with camshafts with AMG inscriptions, among other things, so we suspect that this is a rare AMG version.
Unfortunately, AMG or Mercedes Benz are no longer able to provide information on this any more.

It recently underwent major servicing but wasn't used much during the past years.
It truly drives very smoothly and is an extremely fast car which is very comfortable as well.

No booklets or history, unfortunately.

It now has a Greek historical number plate and was previously registered in France.

Sold on behalf of a collector.

We try to describe the cars as honestly and correctly as possible but they are used vehicles, so there may always be something that needs attention or shows signs of wear, which is inherent in used items.

It is advisable to come and view the vehicle before placing a bid to avoid disappointment afterwards. Please contact Catawiki to schedule an appointment.
