As one of only 3’270 Coupés with the 3.5 litre V8 engine built, this Mercedes was first registered in France on the 15th March 1972. For several years now the car has been owned by a Swiss Mercedes dealer who had it registered at the address of his vacation residence in France. In January 2021, the 280 was finally imported into Switzerland. After arrival the radiator was overhauled, the front dampers replaced together with new front brake discs and pads and new tyres fitted. Equipped with an automatic gearbox, power steering and a leather interior, the car is in good to very good condition and will be handed over with the most recent Veteran MOT completed in November 2021.
