We hare very pleased to present this fantastically gorgeous and very rare 1933 Mercedes Benz 200 Convertible W21 Kurz. The Kurz stands for short bodywork made by ‘Sindelfingen’! It has the M21 engine and a Maybach overdrive transmission also know as a Schnellgang. The car started life in 1933 when purchased by Mr Witt in Hamburg. Shortly after the war the car came into the procession of the Bink family, who kept the car in the family for more than 50 years passing through three generations. Between 2009 and 2016 the car underwent a complete body-off restoration and mechanical overhaul, bringing the car back to its original specifications. It has a two-tone burgundy red and black finish with a tan leather interior trim and matching carpets. Thanks to the minoutious care and attention to detail the car is in A-1 concourse condition. The bodywork, the underbody and every chrome detail are in tip-top condition. Since its restoration the car only travelled some 400 kilometres. The amount of documentation is amazingly quite complete, considering the cars’ age. Documents include the original owners manual and parts book, technical information sheets and even a copy of the order forms! This is an unique pre-war Mercedes Benz W21 convertible with a well documented provenance!
