"In 1985 Mercedes-Benz introduced the E-Class to the market, the W124 series was designed to last many miles with awards presented and received for high mileage versions. Much of the 124's engineering and many of its features were advanced automotive technology, incorporating innovations that have been adopted throughout the industry. Now regarded as having been the best-built cars of the modern era of Mercedes-Benz these cars were all heavily over-engineered with outstanding build quality and excellent and exceptional longevity.
The example offered here is presented in the desirable colour combination of dark green over a biscuit interior. In good condition throughout, the paintwork still retains a deep shine and shows very few blemishes. The interior is equally pleasant showing little sign of hard use. Showing a mere 70,100 miles on the odometer, this E220 comes complete with a full service history, all service work has been completed by either a Mercedes main dealer or a Mercedes specialists. First registered by Mercedes-Benz as a works demonstrator, this E220 was later acquired by our vendor, the fourth registered keeper. Reported to be in good running and driving order, this Mercedes is offered with a history file containing the service booklet with relevant service stamps, previous MoT test certificates, sundry invoices and the current V5 registration document.
