The Mercedes-Benz 220 Cabriolet A, considered by many to be one of the most beautiful post-war convertibles, combines a pre-war look with post-war technology.

Our 220 is a car for “lovers of restored classic cars”. The interior, the woodwork, the mechanics, the soft top, the bodywork – wherever you look, you can see that it has been restored.

It appears to have been first registered in Switzerland in 1953. This is evidenced by a very low chassis number in the registration document and a type approval without an ‘X’. The documentation dates back to the 1980s.

We have known the car for many years and are now offering it for sale on behalf of the current owner.

This rare Cabriolet A, of which only 1,278 were produced, is in good condition.
The mechanics perform as one would expect from a Mercedes-Benz. The Reisecabriolet has a veteran registration dating from 2022. All in all, this elegant Cabriolet drives flawlessly and is in very good overall condition.

The 220 Cabriolet A has lost none of its charm and still exudes the glamour of the 1950s! Driving could hardly be more stylish…
