Although Mercedes-Benz is known as a major luxury car manufacturer, at the end of the Second World War it only produced passenger cars with four-cylinder engines. In 1951, the brand with the star changed the situation and in April presented a car with the internal code name W187. It was a luxurious convertible with a six-cylinder 2.2L engine capable of propelling the car and its passengers at 140 kilometres per hour. Produced as a saloon, coupé or convertible with 2 or 4 seats, this beautiful car is today one of the flagship products of the Mercedes-Benz luxury brand.
The car we are offering is in a very nice condition. The body is painted in off-white. The cream-coloured upholstery is also in good condition and the interior offers four seats. The chocolate-coloured dashboard with wood trim adds a touch of elegance to the car. Under the bonnet, the 2.2L 80 horsepower engine is running normally. The beige soft top is also in good condition, as is the car's exterior chrome.
