A McLaren 650S Spider is already exclusive, but the 650S Can Am is really a rare appearance. McLaren developed 50 copies of the 650S Can Am as a tribute to 50 years of the Canadian-American Challenge Cup. In the opening year, McLaren participated in the Can Am Cup with the M1B with drivers Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon.

This new 650S Can Am is one of the 50 cars produced by McLaren. A unique car in special composition. The car is finished in Onyx Black metallic paint with 19" Can Am alloy wheels and black calipers. The weight of the car is limited by the frequent use of carbon fiber. The roof, the 'hood', splitters, bumpers and air intakes are, among other things, made of carbon fiber. Behind the carbon fiber roof is the bi-turbo 3.8-liter V8 with 650 hp that brings the Can Am to a maximum of 329 km/h.

The interior is also black with red accents. The sports seats are combined Carbon Black Nappal eather with red contrast stitching and red Alcantara inlays. The Can Am logo is embroidered in red in the headrests. Here too, many elements are made of carbon fiber, such as the center console, door panels and the steering wheel.
