The car is a 1998 Maserati Ghibli GT 2.8 Automatic.
In 1995 the Ghibli was renamed Ghibli GT and was given a number of technical modifications, including a new rear differential derived from Ferrari.
This car was originally produced in April 1997 with a 2,790cc engine, ‘Grigio Silver’ exterior colour, beige interior and was intended for the Japanese market.
The engine and chassis numbers match those given by Maserati Classiche.
I do not know how many owners it had in Japan.
Imported to England in 2016 where it had two previous owners.
In 2018 it was purchased by the current owner and moved to Italy by motorbike without any problems.
It comes with a V5C traffic document stamped with export in October 2018.
As it was imported before Brexit, no taxes or duties have been paid.
The car has been regularly serviced and is in good overall condition with 60,000km on the odometer.
All service records carried out in Japan from 1999 to 2013 are available.
Two further services were carried out in Italy, including oil change, oil filter, air filter and fuel filter replacement.
There is no obvious mechanical damage and no oil or fluid leaks.
The body is in overall good condition, with no rust or noticeable damage, with excellent body lines and door closures.
The underbody is also in good condition, as is the case with most cars imported from Japan.
