This Maserati Ghibli Spyder (chassis #AM115S*1221) was delivered new in January 1970. It is one of only 100 factory-built 4.7 Spyder examples produced by Maserati at the time.

This Ghibli Spyder is a European-spec car and features a superb color configuration – black paint with beige leather interior. The soft top is in good condition, as are the carpets and all dashboard instruments.

The car’s structure is sound, the underbody shows no signs of corrosion or deformation, and the panel gaps are well-aligned. The car presents in excellent overall condition, reflecting the quality of a previous restoration (bodywork #10354).

The recorded engine number is #AM115*1221, and it runs well: easy to start, no overheating, and excellent performance.

The car has been carefully maintained, and some recent work has been carried out (invoices available), including:
Installation of electronic ignition and new spark plug wires
New spark plugs
4 new Borrani wheels
New fuel pump
Complete overhaul of the electrical system (dashboard removed)
Headlight lifting mechanism revised

This Ghibli Spyder is driven regularly and has just returned from a recent rally. Carefully maintained, it has recently been appraised by a specialist of the model. A technical inspection (CT) will be carried out for the sale.
