It was originally sold in the USA, and 3 years ago it was imported into Spain. Customs taxes were paid but the car still needs to be registered, so it is possible to register it in any EU country without problems.
This is a vehicle in very original condition, preserved in running order, but never thoroughly restored. Years ago, a slight restoration was performed, respecting the car’s originality, and the interior, for example, seems to be in fully original condition. The upholstery is fine, with only minimal signs of wear.
The car has not been used on the road for some years, but it is always maintained, fine-tuned, and driven briefly, so that the mechanics do not become deteriorated due to lack of use.
This is why the car is in perfect running order, both engine-wise and in terms of gearbox. It has a carburettor engine, which makes it much easier to use and maintain compared to injection versions.
There is no visible rust and the paintwork is also in very good condition, with minor signs of some damage due to opening the doors or slight scuff marks caused by objects. The colour looks slightly different on the doors and there is some discoloration on the front edge of the bonnet.
Overall, it could be considered a car with patina. The car still has its original steering wheel with a wooden rim, and the rims with its original hubcaps. The vehicle has been personally inspected by a Catawiki expert.
