The history of the car has been researched and documented from 1960 to the present day. 6 known owners.
The country of origin and manufacturing is the UK; originally built with left-hand drive for the US export market. Sold to the California importer as per invoices of the time.

The car is delivered with FIVA, ASI, ACISPORT certification.

Prior to restoration, it suffered a minor accident on the front side due to a rear-end collision, during which the mudflap got damaged; it was repaired at the time of restoration in 1990 (photos of the damage available).

Excellent mechanical condition, “stage 2” version (two SU carburettors and camshaft with 3 supports). Complete with all the original details.

Body and paint in excellent condition, without dents; there are a few imperfections that are part of the car since it is a self-supporting fibreglass monocoque with no frame.

Original ZF gearbox of the time in perfect condition fitted to the car (no longer available on the market today), provided at the time as an optional extra. Its standard MG gearbox is also available.

Numerous hard-to-find spare parts are available (exterior door handles, fuel pump and repair kit, head gaskets, original MG gearbox).

For ten years, from 1993 to 2002, it participated in elegance contests in the USA, often winning the “Best of the Show” prize in its category. Original certificates available.

Numerous books have been dedicated to this model, including the first edition of Dennis Ortenburger’s book, now no longer available on the market.
In the 1990s, it was often featured on the cover of American trade magazines for advertising (original covers available).
The car still has its workshop manual.
