The car on sale is a well known original car with its original chassis plate. The car is fitted with drum brakes as per the original specification which allows entry to the prestigious Lurani FIA Historic Championship. Equipped with a race prepared Ford 105E engine, this car was raced in Italy for years by a member of the Historic Scuderia Madunina, a Milano based racing club who in days past claimed Juan Manuel Fangio as a member.
The car has been fitted with a period built Valerio Colloti based VW transaxle which offers a real improvement on the Renault box that appeared on the first cars. A comprehensive history file with photographs, invoices and an older FIA form comes with the car.
