Land Rover 88 Diesel version, this off-road icon was built in 1973 by Land Rover and delivered new in Italy. It was recently restored to its original “Bronze Green” colour with a complete interior and exterior paint job that is in beautiful, shiny and well-maintained condition with many new seals. The original windscreen is foldable.

In addition, the mechanics underwent a very thorough check with a restoration of the fuel lines, new tyres and new exhaust tailpipe. It starts nimbly from the steering controls and is in good working order, including the overhauled electrical system. The engine has the original “906” code, as shown in the registration certificate.

All the seats are new, as well as the interior carpets, including rear benches, a new soft top frame and a new soft top were also recently installed. The underbody and chassis are structurally sound and in good condition for immediate use (please see photos on deck); the latest work invoices are all available, worth over €5,000.

The Land Rover is combined with a very rare 1986 Plini & Gigliotti “mini caravan”, called “Bunker”. It is the ancestor of the modern “sleeper pods” and allowed you to take along a bed to sleep in the open air, space for extra luggage, luggage rack, pantry, coffee table and courtesy lights. The “bunker” has regular documents with registration and approval plate of the time (as shown in photos).

In March 2021, it passed a technical inspection, which is valid until March 2023. It is a direct purchase from the previous owner and normal maintenance may be required in the future at the discretion of the new buyer.
